There are so many new ways to experience the joy of performing this season. Be in a full-scale musical production or a scaled down Cabaret Workshop for those with less free time. Not a singer? Sign up to be in the cast of Moises Kaufman's award-winning play The Laramie Project or our Public Speaking Workshop for those who simply want professional guidance and practice in addressing groups of people.

I really would like to sign up for Laramie Project, but why is the tuition fee the same for a simple play as that of a lavish big musical like Joseph?

PlayItAgain - thank you so much for you inquiry. Tuition for the play is the same as the musical for a few reasons. Firstly, we allow twice as many participants to be in the musical as in the play therefore, the musical's budget is roughly twice that of the play. Both productions require approximately the same amount of rehearsal time, same theater space, lighting, sets, staff requirements, etc. so in many ways the costs are similar, however we are able to make it work by keeping the tuition the same for both projects. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me at Evan@AfterWorkTheater.com. Hope to see you at Launch Day!
