If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Daytime Emmys do count but it's always with an asterisk, real or implied. That's why they are referred to as Daytime Emmys rather than just Emmys. It's still a nice achievement and kudos to the folks who win them, but it's not really what most people are referring to when they say "The Emmys".
"I heard they have someone really great for the end credits song for Frozen...."
I may be mistaken, but I thought they changed the rules recently so that the song actually has to be used at some point in the movie and not just over the end credits to qualify.
Original Song: An original song consists of words and music, both of which are original and written specifically for the motion picture. There must be a clearly audible, intelligible, substantive rendition (not necessarily visually presented) of both lyric and melody, used in the body of the motion picture or as the first music cue in the end credits.
