I think it would be really popular, considering Les Mis is like the 2nd or 3rd longest running show of all time.

And Lea Michelle could play that girl who sings the one song. All of her Glee fans would come see her and it would make a lot of money.

They are starting production after Wicked: A New Movie is finished. Lea can play all the womens.

Not before they do film versions of Mame and A Chorus Line. Both of those really deserve to be made into movies.

I have never heard of Maim or A Chorus Line. Are those really old shows?

I heard the Wicked movie is coming but I heard that all the original cast members are in it. Sorry Lea!

Lea Michele as Cassie in A Chorus Line. "I know I'll never dance as well as Kate Hudson, so I'll just have to play the role with my voice!"

Um, do you mean why did it take so long to make a movie? Or are you asking why there isn't one being made at all? If the latter, you'll be pleasantly surprised -- Les Miserables, starring Hugh Jackman, will be released on Christmas.

Nah, it will never happen, but even it did, Ms. Michelle will have to wait in line for that role. Susan Boyle is said to have quite the lock on it.

But how would anyone be able to sit through something that long without having to take a toilet break?

Really? They ARE making a movie? That's awesome! I think I should get some sort of a cut of the profits for thinking of it

I'm still hoping that they'll make a movie version of Hello Dolly with Carol Channing. Also Gypsy with Ethel Merman (but maybe she's too old to do it.)

Oh cool! I'm glad they're making it with Hugh. I loved him in "About A Boy"
