Has any more info about the new Chorus Line tour, like cast, been released? It seems odd as it starts in a few weeks, yet I can't find anything. I'm still debating going when it's here in BC at the end of the month...
I can't remember now, but I think it has a couple of dates before the Abbotsford (a Vancouver suburb) show at the end of the month--so it seems odd there's so little about it.
I saw the last tour (first leg I think--with Michael Gruber), and found the cast really strong. I'd be tempted to go again, and want to bring a friend who really wants to see it, but if it's a subpar production or cast it's not really worth it for me, after that one... (There still seem to be a ton of tickets anyway--prob partly due to lack of advertising). I admit that fact, and the fact that it does seem to be playing these odd cities and suburbs (I've never even heard of a tour going to Abbotsford before), has me a bit hesitant.
this is about as low as it can go in terms of tours. it's the lowest non-equity tour possible, basically what used to be called bus-and-truck tours. I forget who's producing it, but they tend to not make websites for their touring shows.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
