West EndTheatre restaurants

I will be in London in a couple of weeks and will be seeing two shows as of right now. I was wondering if I could get a couple of restaurant recommendations in the theatre district. My family likes to eat dinner before show and we will be seeing "Les Miz" and "Singing In the Rain". Also, what is a good time for a dinner reservation so meal will not be rushed and still time to make curtain. Thanks in advance.

Salieri on The Strand is great - just opposite The Savoy. Ten minutes from Shaftesbury Avenue and I'd probably reserve for between 5.30 and 6.
