I am one of those guys who loves to sit as close to the stage as I can get - But am wondering if I should reconsider this for Spiderman. Would anyone have a suggestion? Thanks. Paul

I have not seen it, that said, you should always try to sit in the front mezzanine for spectacle type musicals especially spiderman. It has flying and the mezzanine or "flying circle" is probably the best bet.

I saw it on the 2nd preview, and I would say that you'd actually take the show in best from the Flying Circle. You will miss subtle facial expressions on the actors, but this show doesn't really require them for understanding, anyhow...

I think you'd have a really different experience too far up in the Orchestra because you'd have to crane your neck to see many of the aerial stunts. The Flying Circle seems to be the best compromise of being close enough to the stage and getting the big picture.

I sat in the first row of the balcony and had a really incredible view. I'd say sit there or the flying circle! They make entrances and exits up in the balcony too!

How are the boxes there?

The boxes are fine, I guess. They're not too cramped, but from what I remember, they're not really stadium-style seating like the flying circle, so you risk being stuck behind a long line of heads...

I sat mid orchestra. As long as you are middle or above, it is SO much fun. Spider-man will drop right into the aisles next to you. But I'm sure the mez is likewise good. Just avoid the balcony at all costs. But it is pretty neat to see the fighting happen right OVER you. It's a big rush!

We sat in orchestra row J, seat 2 & 4 and I thought the seats were just fine, had to turn a few times to watch the flying but not in a neck straining way. Not to give anything away, there was some dropping and launching in the aisle and right in front of Row H. (Usher tells you before the show starts to keep feet in and not get up)

I sat in the Flying Cirlce row C on the aisle. Great view, although for third row "mezz" seats, it seems rather far away from the stage. Of course, it was to increase the flying area.

I was in the first row of the balcony. DON'T sit there. I could see the stage and actors just fine -- but felt that I easily missed 50% of the aeriel crap. (And I say crap, because I wasn't impressed with what I DID see.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I was sat in in the middle of row P in the orchestra. I thought it was a great seat. Didn't seem too far from the stage and could see all the aerial stuff just fine.
