Hello all. For those of you who happen to be fans of "Chicago", Michael Cusumano is leaving the show. This weekend will be his last with the show. Best of luck to you! from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I have no idea what his future plans are. When he posts it on Facebook, I'll share the news.

Hey y'all! So, Mikey is a friend of mine and yes, he is leaving Chicago. But, he actually doesn't have anything else lined up yet, unfortunately. He just feels like his time with Chicago is over. So, see it if you can before he leaves! He's an incredible dancer and helps bring the ensemble to life! He'll be missed.
So Ryan Worsing replaced him but Denny Paschall took over "Me and My Baby." It should also be worth noting that Stephanie Pope joined the cast! Gabrielle McClinton (American Idiot tour) replaced her in Pippin. Interesting career choice....
Wow, this is news. Stephanie Pope now plays the role of "Annie", as well as being the 3rd "Velma Kelly" understudy. I'm surprised that a third understudy has been selected...seeing that Amra Fay Wright is Velma till June 2014. Good for Ryan Worsing that he's back with the show. Current Chicago Cast List

Wow, I wonder if there will be more "Chicago" cast changes. I noticed that Cristy Candler (who made those avante garde Facebook videos with Michael Cusumano) is not listed as a cast member. Also, Melissa Rae Mahon (Go-to-Hell Kitty and Roxie understudy) will probably return sometime in October (after an extended maternity leave).

I wonder if the Weisslers ultimately realized they wanted a younger understudy for Patina in PIPPIN and offered Pope a track back in CHICAGO as a consolation prize.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Not that it matters, but I saw Stephanie as Velma in Las Vegas (with Chita and Ben) and she was great, she really held her own against those two legends! Maybe she'll be they're new Charlotte, running between shows like Charlotte back and forth with Sweet Charity back in the day.
