That parade performance was less than magical. They should just let him sing the **** out of the songs since he can sing. Why not change them up a little bit? Seems silly.

I saw Pippin a clip with Josh Kauffman and the New LP and they were not that great. Josh is good signer but is far to old to play Pippin and the LP well can sing but not very well.

The parade clip was kind of sad, Josh nor the leading player were impressive in the least. Im very happy I saw Pippin with all of the original cast.

Carly Hughes, the new LP is AMAZING live, she can really work an audience, Josh, not so much.

I really liked Carly as the LP and thought she had a great voice. That parade performance didn't do her any justice.

-Mike Schwitter will be on as Pippin this Tuesday & Wednesday, December 2nd & 3rd!

-Sam Lips will be on as Pippin next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 4th through 6th!

I've heard great things about Mike.

Both understudies are really fantastic. Schwitter is probably vocally the best Pippin this revival has seen.

She actually went on for the matinee also, my friend was there and said Lara was AMAZING, she saw the show with Patina and Ciara as well. They also changed the hair color on her wig for the Leading Player. It is blonde. I have a picture from ensemble member Mackenzie Bell's instagram. It just seem weird because Lara's natural hair is brown, so why blonde, but never the less she looks great!
