I'm pleased as punch to make a return to the Big Apple. I had thought of December, but the flights were more expensive for the dates I wanted. So far, I've purchased a ticket for one show. One guess.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I'm sure you're planning on seeing Chicago multiple times, but there's a lot of new shows coming in, too. I also think you'd like Hadestown.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Do yourself a HUGE favor, and book tickets for Into the Woods the moment it extends --- do not, repeat, do not pass up the opportunity to see this exceptional production
I really, really wanted to book a Thursday night so I could see Julie Benko in Funny Girl. But since November 24th is Thanksgiving Day, the flight rates were high. On Sunday, Nov. 20th, I'm thinking of Moulin Rouge. Monday, November 21 is my "Chicago" evening. I was somewhat contemplating booking "Funny Girl" for Tues. Nov. 22nd, with the hope of Julie Benko filling in for L. M. (But, I guess that's wishful thinking.)

"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

That week, Julie is performing the 11/25 Friday matinee.

Trust me...Benko is fine. Not astounding, but...fine.

But you're gonna want to see Lea.
Actually, no.

Actually...I get it. But someday.....
I have zero interest in seeing L.M. I would not see her even if it involved a free ticket.

I got tickets in November- for my trip- from Atlanta- for Leopoldstadt and The Piano Lesson. Those two plays, for me, are the best things around for November
I am interested in seeing the Museum of Broadway. Has anyone been there? Thoughts?

Hello all. I've booked my 2nd show: Moulin Rouge on Tues. Nov. 22nd. I was surprised by the reasonable price. Now, for my final selection, my choices are rather limited for a Sunday evening show. I have never seen Phantom. I had booked it for June 2020 but...... My other choice is "Six". It sounds like a thrilling show. So, I'm conflicted between Phantom and Six.

Sunday, November 20: Phantom of the Opera 5:00 p.m. (gives me more time to go to Marie's)
Monday, November 21: Chicago 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 22: Moulin Rouge 7:00 p.m.

I had never seen Phantom before either, but went this past July. It was surprisingly well done. It didn't make me a fan of ALW, but it definitely is more of a show than Six. I think Six may have been one of the disappointments of my July trip.
I have bought a ticket to a new NYC attraction. I'll be visiting the Museum of Broadway on November 21st at 12:30 p.m. It should be a short walk away from my accomodations...the Hotel Edison. https://youtu.be/56nBbrw8Wew
