The Alabama Shakespeare Festival's touring production of William Shakespeare's hilarious comedy Twelfth Night will be coming home for a limited run in the theatre's intimate Octagon stage, March 26-30. There will be additional performances on April 30 and May 9.

Tickets start at $45 and may be obtained online at www.asf.net, by calling 1.800.841.4273 or by visiting the ASF box office at 1 Festival Drive in the heart of Montgomery's beautiful Blount Cultural Park.

Twelfth Night follows the adventures of a shipwrecked young woman, Viola, who uses the twist of fate to change her identity to that of a young man. But when she falls for a handsome duke, and the duke's girlfriend falls for the male version of Viola, the perfect storm of comical confusion results.

The cast of Twelfth Night includes Seth Andrew Bridges (Orsino, Officer), Michelle Geisler (Olivia), Logan Hall (Sir Toby Belch, Captain), Jason Martin (Malvolio), Chris Pappas (Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Valentine), Jim Staudt (Feste, Antonio), David Umansky (Sebastian) and Jillian Walker (Viola, Maria).

Twelfth Night is directed by ASF artistic resident and educational director Greta Lambert.

By the time Twelfth Night opens at ASF it will have already made stops in the state of Alabama including Enterprise, Rockford, Alexandria and Trussville. In April, the tour will move to Graceville, Florida; Meridian, Mississippi and Columbus, Georgia as well as additional Alabama towns of Tuscaloosa, Ohatchee and Huntsville.

Twelfth Night will be part of ASF's spring repertory season that includes Macbeth, To Kill a Mockingbird, God of Carnage and Around the World in Eighty Days. The repertory season concludes on May 19.

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival is among the largest Shakespeare theatres in the world. Designated as the State Theatre of Alabama, ASF has been located in Montgomery since 1985 when it moved from Anniston as a result of Mr. and Mrs. Wynton M. Blount's gift of a performing arts complex set in the 250-acre Wynton M. Blount Cultural Park. This program/project has been made possible by grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
