The holidays are always the busiest time of the year at The Way Off Broadway Dinner. Whether it's the theatre's mainstage production, Children's Theatre show, or one of the many holiday events, including the popular Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus), once December rolls around, there is usually one, two, or even three shows a day at the popular entertainment venue located in the Willowtree Plaza directly off The Golden Mile in Frederick, MD.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2011 Season comes to an end this year with the original holiday musical Christmas Tidings, opening Friday evening, November 18th. In the show, with Christmas Day just around the corner, Goody's Bavarian Christmas Card and Gift Shoppe is abuzz with activity. There's certainly something magical in the air as Mrs. K. and Rusty, her trusted shop assistant, help to make all of the shoppers' Christmas wishes come true. Fun for the whole family, blending songs from Christmases past to present, Christmas Tidings will fill everyone with the holiday spirit.

Creating all of the characters that find their way into the Christmas Shoppe at Way Off Broadway this season are Leah Bebee, Jaimie Hoover, Jonny Kigin, Sarah Melinda, Jordan B. Stocksdale, Susan Thornton, and Shannon Wells. Playing the part of loyal shop steward Rusty is Jordan C. Allen, with Deb Kiska making a special appearance as Mrs. K.

Once again, Justin M. Kiska, Way Off Broadway's Managing Director, has penned the theatre's holiday production. However, Christmas Tidings will mark something of a return for Kiska who took a brief break from creating the theatre's annual holiday installment during the 2010 Season. Until his 2010 hiatus, he had written all of Way Off Broadway's Mainstage Christmas shows since 2005.

In addition to having written this season's Christmas Tidings, Kiska is also directing the production, with musical staging by both Jaimie Hoover and Bill Kiska and musical direction by Jordan B. Stocksdale.

The show will run November 18 - December 30, 2011 with performances every Friday and Saturday evening and matinees on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month. Tickets for the Friday and Sunday performances are $42, with Saturday's being $46. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the Box Office in person or calling (301) 662-6600.
