Laurel Mill Playhouse, located at 508 Main Street in historic Laurel, MD., presents Love Letters by A. R. Gurney. Directed and produced by Maureen Rogers and starring Douglas Silverman and Irene Patton, this unique and imaginative theater piece is being performed one night only, August 14.. Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service this play starts at 8pm. Tickets are $10 general admission.

For reservations, please call 301-452-2557. For further information visit the web site at www.laurelmillplayhouse.org

The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.
