Last night, February 16, SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT officially opened on Broadway, taking audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film.

Stockard Channing, Rachel Grifiths and Stacy Keach, co-stars of the Broadway play Other Desert Cities, had their caricatures unveiled at Sardi's today, February 16. Joining in the celebration were director Joe Mantello, playwright Jon Robin Baitz, and fellow cast members Judith Light and Justin Kirk. A rep for singer Whitney Houston announced to the Associated Press that Houston died yesterday at age 48. The singer died in her room at the Beverly Hilton hotel, where she was for Clive Davis' Grammy Awards party. No cause of death has yet been revealed.

First up is Tim Curry at the stage door of Broadway's Amadeus in 1982. Curry played Mozart in the production, which opened in 1980 opposite Ian McKellen as Salieri and Jane Seymour as Constanze.
