Walter McBride As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. Broadway's LEAP OF FAITH stars four-time Tony nominee Raul Esparza as Jonas Nightingale, Jessica Phillips as Marla Humes, Kendra Kassebaum as Sam Nightingale, Kecia Lewis-Evans as Ida Mae Robinson, Leslie Odom, Jr. as Isaiah Robinson, Krystal Joy Brown as Ornella and Talon Ackerman as Jake Humes. Previews begin Tuesday, April 3 and the production will open on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). Primary Stages concludes its 27th season with the New York premiere of The Morini Strad, a new play by Willy Holtzman (Sabina). Directed by Casey Childs, the cast will feature Michael Laurence (Krapp39, Broadway's Talk Radio, Opus at Primary Stages), Tony Award® nominee Mary Beth Peil ("The Good Wife," "Dawson's Creek," The King and I), and celebrated violin soloist Hanah Stuart (Chicago Symphony, Zankel Hall). The limited engagement will play March 20 - April 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Opening night is April 3rd. The company just met the press and BroadwayWorld was there for the big event. Alexander also served as Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts from 1993 to 1997.

The musical Carrie made her return eagerly awaiting return to New York City last night after the show's notoriously short 1988 run on Broadway. This brand new and revised production, now playing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street), has already extended its run, and will now play performances through April 22, 2012. Damn Yankees begins performances on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, and runs at the Millburn, New Jersey theater through Sunday, April 1, 2012. Opening night is scheduled for Sunday, March 11, 2012. The Musical took to the stage at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble yesterday, February 23rd at 5 PM to perform selections from the hit parody of the classic film The Silence of the Lambs. Brian J.
