A year after graduating college, I got sucked into the college journey of Felicity Porter. For four years, I was there for her adventure in New York City, far away from Palo Alto, California as she juggled the love of Ben and Noel and tried to figure out exactly who she was and who she wanted to be. It encapsulated the emotions of going to college, being in college and most importantly, learning to say goodbye to college. Felicity struck all the right chords. Let's journey back!
Dear Mindy Kaling: When you began your show with 'More Than a Feeling' by Boston, I was in. But when Danny Castellano does a strip tease? I am SO in!
After surviving the cruise from hell in last season's finale, we are back after way too long of a break. The NEW GIRL crew is back and goofier than ever as they try to maneuver their way through their LA life. Within the first few minutes, the group and their new found chemistry including Coach came out swinging. Now if only the theme song would incorporate him… (And Cece too!)
Tonight is a Super Moon and how fitting as the Teen Wolf Mid-Season finale answers all of our questions. Right? Sadly, no. But we did get a long-awaited confrontation in the form of a crazy battle and the death (?) of a main character. Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD! Read at your own risk.
Looks like we'll be beginning and ending the first half of Season Four in Mexico. And from tonight's penultimate episode, things are not looking good for Scott and the gang. By the end of the episode was it just me who had no idea what is going to happen in the finale next week? Man, I hope so because I have a LOT of questions. Let's dissect this, shall we?
I first watched the backdoor pilot during Season Five of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. I wasn't too excited even though I do adore Klaus' lips and I'd move mountains if Elijah asked me to. (Swoon) However, at the urging of friends, I binge watched The Originals this summer and as it turns out? It's pretty fantastic. I don't know why I doubted it to begin with, the Mikaelson Family has never disappointed in entertainment. I mean it's pretty much the same basic story as TVD, two brothers, one pretty good, one pretty bad, both invested in the same woman yada yada yada, but here, there are a lot more witches, a lot more wolves and a lot more intrigue. This isn't Mystic Falls; this is New Orleans.
I am always amused when someone says to me, 'I don't watch THE WALKING DEAD, it's about zombies.' Zombies are so inconsequential in this show, that it is downright amusing when non-watchers take that approach. But the joke is on them, because to miss out on these rich and layered characters is their loss. Let's look back on Season Four, shall we?
1, 2, 3, 4, JFK, FDR! That's right, True American fans, New Girl is back soon. And before we get ready to see what is in store for us in Apartment 4D, let's revisit where we left off in Season Three.
With two seasons under their belt, 'The Mindy Project' has quickly become one of my favorite comedies on television. Under the brilliant Mindy Kahling's writing staff and a cast of unbelievable actors, this show never fails to disappoint. So if you haven't jumped in yet, allow me to bring you up to speed.
It's been a heck of a weekend for entertainment; VMA's, EMMY's, but let's be honest...isn't Beacon Hills all that really matters? Last week's jawdropper ending finally revealed Meredith to be the Benefactor and man, does she have some 'splainin to do! Let's jump in, shall we?
Mark Ruffalo first burst onto the scene in the critical darling, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME in 2000. With his first major role, he was on every critic's must-watch list immediately. Since then, he's never stopped working. 'The Normal Heart' is Ruffalo's first major role on television, and clearly the Emmy community, along with the rest of us, stood up and took notice. His 2014 Emmy nomination is yet another addition to his length list of past nominations in a career that spans nearly two decades.
In anticipation of the live 66th Annual Emmy Award broadcast on NBC on Monday, August 25th, BWW will be spotlighting the Emmy nominated TV performances of some of Broadway's biggest stars. If you want to follow along and interact with all of BroadwayWorld's Emmy coverage, check out #BWWEmmys on Twitter.
Remember last week when Scott faked his death so we could figure out who the Benefactor was? Remember when we were all convinced that Lydia's grandmother was the Benefactor? In all honesty, could we have BEEN more wrong? Is your jaw still dropped or is it just mine? Okay so if THAT didn't deserve a WTF, I don't know what does. That felt more like a finale than a regular episode.
After last week's 'filler' episode, we are jumping right back into action in Beacon Hills this week. Picking up from the traumatizing PSAT's and the chemistry teacher's attempted assassinations (I never liked science class), Stiles was abandoned by Malia who discovered everyone knew Peter was her Dad, except Malia. But this week had bigger bombshells to drop...like the identity of The BENEFACTOR...I think? And if so, I couldn't have been more wrong about who i thought the Benefactor was if I tried. Who guessed it? Be honest...
Greetings Cyclones Fans! We are back at Beacon Hills High for another attack by the Benefactor and his Minions but before we jump into a contagion, let's look back and what we were left with last week. Derek and Malia and just discovered a big bunch of dead wolves in the woods, Meredith 'killed herself' (not convinced), D-E-R-E-K unlocked the final code for the kill list and the most unsettling teaming since Rachel and Joey, Kate and Peter have formed a truce of sorts so she can learn control and he can gain power. Flawless plan as always, Peter.
That was a LOT of information in this week's episode of 'Teen Wolf.' This show can never be accused of having slow episodes, my goodness.
Tonight on MTV, we'll be halfway through the first half of Season 4. Where DOES the time go? So what has our favorite Beacon Hills High supernatural gang been up to thus far?
I don't know about you, but I am just now beginning to recover from all of the events in SCANDAL's third season finale. It seems we were left with pretty much every single character's future with a giant question mark hanging over their head. I mean, we're not foolish enough to believe that Jake and Olivia escaped into eternal bliss, right? RIGHT? Not when Daddy Pope's literally got a guy inside the White House who killed the President's son. (Is it too late to say SPOILER ALERT?)
