Impro Melbourne is thrilled to welcome more celebrity guests to the grand stage of St Kilda's National Theatre for the 27th annual Celebrity Theatresports on July 25th. Joining the line-up we have Queenie van de Zandt (Girl Clock, Winners and Losers & musicals such as King Kong & Les Miserables), Geoff Paine (Neighbours, Blue Heelers, A Country Practice) and Jason Geary (Impro Melbourne alumni, That iSelect Guy). They bring their talents to the stage for a competition that is fast-paced and fantastic, alongside The Impro Melbourne Ensemble (Patrick Duffy, Sarah Kinsella, Amy Moule, Patti Stiles). This celebrity showdown will be judged by Derek Guille, Mike Jackson and Kate Cebrano and accompanied by musician Boris Conley.

These daring players join previously announced Dean Haglund (The X-Files Lone Gunman), Jay Laga'aia (Star Wars Episode II & III, Xena: Warrior Princess, Water Rats, The Lion King production) and Rob Lloyd (Dr. Who obsessor, improviser and actor) for our 2015 competition!

Celebrity Theatresports is the home of the comedic chemistry of some of improvisation's finest talent. The show that inspired Whose Line Is It Anyway? combines the family friendly joy and hilarity of Theatresports with the prestige and glamour of celebrity, creating a night of unpredictable and dynamic fun!

Celebrity Theatresports is a competition for the curious, the brave and the famed. Teamed with the Impro Melbourne Ensemble, celebrity guests compete in exciting improvisation games and are scored by judges. Using audience suggestions and spur of the moment wit to create moments of jaw-dropping hilarity, players craft scenes, songs and mischief. This is competition at its most mysterious - we invite audiences to join us for one night only as players compete for the coveted 'Peter Cook Cup'. This year is shaping up to be quite the adventure...

2015's show is directed by our Artistic Director Patti Stiles (Veteran Improviser and Artistic Director of the International Theatresports Institute). The cast features members the Impro Melbourne Ensemble, with more celebrity guests to be announced. Keep an eye on our social media and website for more details.

In 2015 celebrate 30 years of Theatresports in Australia - join us for one night only of celebrity competition.
