PRODUCTIONS

DINOSAUR!

A collaboration with Fernbank Museum of Natural History

A one-of-a-kind collaboration with the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, this production will be developed in partnership with science educators from the museum. A gentle and awe-inspiring introduction to the wonders of the pre-historic world, this is a play where science and art intersect, and where our tiniest audience members interact with some of the largest dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth.

ROOB AND NOOB

Meet Roob & Noob: two overly curious scientists who love nothing more than discovering something new. Join them on an interactive adventure, as they build machines from simple objects and explore the wonder and sensations of each of the four seasons. Inspired by the magical Rube Goldberg machines, this unique theatrical performance combines science and the arts, proving that sometimes the most profound discoveries are achieved by simply playing.

EXHIBITION

"Painter and Poet: The Wonderful World of Ashley Bryan"
The High Museum of Art celebrates the 50-year career of children's book author and artist Ashley Bryan (American, born 1923), who has published children's books in a dizzying array of styles that reflect a wide variety of influences, from African folktales to jazz and poetry. The exhibition features more than 70 original artworks from 20 of his books, including dynamic ink drawings from "The Dancing Granny" (1977) and colorful cut-paper collages from "Beautiful Blackbird" (2002). Also on view are a selection of paintings from Bryan's powerful new title, "Freedom Over Me."
