Aurora Theatre continues their concert series, Swing Night at Aurora Theatre featuring the Metro Jazz Club on Saturday September 10 at 8:00 PM. The Metro Jazz Club is a smokin'-hot 17 piece band, dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed from the smoothest jazz to the spirited rhythms of swing.

Led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton, the band is accompanied by a sultry chanteuse, the magnificent Maxine Cummins and crooner Jason Joines. Your hostess for the evening will be the incomparable Ann-Carol Pence, Aurora Theatre Associate Producer. The concert will also feature two vocalists well known to Aurora Theatre audiences. Glenn Rainey appeared on Broadway for seven years in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Aurora audiences will remember him as the lovable gangster in Kiss, Me Kate and Uncle Winston in A Catered Affair, Glenn will also be starring in Aurora's upcoming comedy, Gray Area, opening in October. Making the evening even more elegant is the lovely Leslie Bellair with memorable recent turns as Kathy Selden in Singin' in the Rain and Connie Wong in A Chorus Line.
