Serenbe Playhouse Presents the Music of Alexander Sage Oyen, 7/8
Alexander Sage Oyen is a new musical theatre composer/lyricist and performer. After selling out The Duplex in New York City, he's bringing his songs to Atlanta in a free concert at the Serenbe Playhouse on Friday July 8 at 8:30pm. You're invited to stop by to hear performances by Patrick Donohue, Laura Lee Gill, Renita James, Michael Kutner, Kyle Lacy and Christen Orr.
Alex has written a number of works. REBEL VERSES is a song cycle people who want a change in their lives and aren't willing to be pushed around anymore. Book, Music and Lyrics by Alexander Sage Oyen. BEER: THE MUSICAL is about a new kid trying to fit in on campus and how drinking kind of helps. All in moderation, of course. Alex has several shows in development, including THE HOMECOMING, DACHAU (with Christopher Metz), MONEYSHOT THE MUSICAL, THE DIARY OF Jesse James and SIDEKICKS. His debut album, "If I Knew Better", was released in May, 2011.
