This year Out of Box Theatre continues their tradition of offering two holiday shows, with a little something for everyone to enjoy.

A Dickens' Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts by Mark Landon Smith tells the story of a doomed production of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. When the company's diva feigns illness, the merry troupe of upstart and over-the-hill actors decide to proceed without her. After all, the show must go on! There's one little problem, though. The understudy only knows one line. When the diva rushes in, mid-performance, to reclaim her role, the company scrambles to keep the show from falling down around them. This production, directed by Jeffrey Bigger, is appropriate for all ages, and a wonderful choice for a family outing to the theatre.

For adults who might be on Santa's naughty list this year, Out of Box presents their traditionally irreverent, amusing, and sometimes frightening annual holiday sketch show Santa After Hours. This year we're uncovering the darker, hilarious side of the Christmas season with Santa After Hours 2015: The Wreck-oning, written by a collective of local playwrights that we can lovingly describe as the "Usual Gang of Idiots." For this late-night madcap merriment, leave the munchkins at home, and let us entertain and/or offend you. We'll let you decide.

A Dickens' Christmas Carol runs December 11-20, 2015, Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 7:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3:00 PM. Santa After Hours runs December 4-19, Fridays & Saturdays at 10:00 PM. Out of Box Theatre is located in the Artisan Resource Center at 585 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta, GA 30060. Tickets are $17-$25 and can be purchased online at www.outofboxtheatre.com or by calling the box office at 678-653-4605.
