Imaginary vs. real children, one would think the real children would be more difficult. But as the game in "And Baby Makes Seven" progresses, the parents find the imaginary children are affecting them more than they ever realized.

In "And Baby Makes Seven," Anna and Ruth play a game where they have three odd, imaginary children. Cecil is a child genius. Orphan is a boy raised by dogs at the Port Authority. Henri is a French stutterer. When roommate Peter decides the game should end because they are expecting a real child and he's uncomfortable with it, the game takes an unexpected turn. Removing the children from their lives proves more difficult than they expected. Combining the actions of the pretend children with preparations of their upcoming baby, "And Baby Makes Seven" is about parenthood and making concessions for the people you love.

The show will run for six performances only in the black box at the Newnan Community Theatre Company. The show runs thru March 7.

"And Baby Makes Seven" is directed by Darren Mathews and stars Sarah Jordan, Euseph Messiah, and Nicole Walker.

NCTC is located at 24 1st Avenue in downtown Newnan. The next show at NCTC is "Death of a Salesman." Upcoming auditions include "Brer Rabbit Stories" on March 1 and 2 and "Cabaret" on March 8 and 9.
