Come laugh a lot at Atlanta Lyric Theatre's Spamalot, the musical lovingly ripped off from the internationally renowned comedy team's most popular film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Spamalot plays June 13 - 29, 2014 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 S. Marietta Pkwy., Marietta). Tickets available by calling 404-377-9948 or visit www.AtlantaLyricTheatre.com.

Rude Frenchmen, can-can dancers, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, killer rabbits, catapulting cows, and the somewhat odd Knights Who Say "Ni" are just part of the adventures and dangers awaiting King Arthur and his knights of the very, very, very round table in their quest for the Holy Grail. With music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Eric Idle and John Du Prez and book by Mr. Idle, Spamalot, winner of three 2005 Tony Awards, features a chorus line of dancing divas and several show-stopping musical numbers including "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" and "The Song That Goes Like This".

Leading the quest is King Arthur (Bart Hansard) with his trusty servant Patsy (Christopher Kent). Playing his gallant knights - and a broad assortment of other characters - are Blake Burgess as Sir Lancelot the Homicidally Brave, Jeff McKerley as Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir-Lancelot, Logan Denninghoff as Sir Galahad the Dashingly Handsome, Luis Hernandez as Sir Bedevere the Strangely Flatulent, Austin Tijerina as the young and effeminate Prince Herbert, and Mary Nye Bennett as The Lady of the Lake.

Others in the cast include Nick Battaglia, Jordan Forte, Natalie Goodwin, Rex Glover, Bonnie Harris, Jamey Hoge, Briana Koon, Nathan Lubek, Cassandra Mora, Becca Potter, Tyler Sarkis, and John Streit.

Spamalot is directed by Lyric Associate Artistic Director Alan Kilpatrick and choreographed by Atlanta native Abbey O'Brien, a member of the original Broadway cast of Spamalot.

The design team features Music Directors Paul Tate and BJ Brown, Scenic Designer Lee Shiver-Cerone, Costume Designer Lindsey G. Paris, Lighting Designer Andre C. Allen, Sound Designer and Production Manager Robert Johnston, Technical Director Michael Young, and Stage Manager Liz Campbell.

Spamalot is presented through the generous sponsorship of Ken and Trish Byers, Robert Paul Dean, and Rob Epstein.

Tickets for Spamalot are priced from $22 - $57. For reservations and information call (404) 377-9948 or visit www.AtlantaLyricTheatre.com.
