On March 23, 2015, Voices Inside/Out will hold its 5th Anniversary Benefit Reading at The COW (21 Clinton Street, Manhattan). Tickets are $25 general admission and can be purchased by visiting www.voicesinsideout.org.

Voices Inside/Out will present six short plays by currently incarcerated inmates of the medium security prison, Northpoint Training Center. Cast includes: Ashlie Atkinson (Fat Pig), Phil Chorba (Silver Linings Playbook), Duane Ferguson (Sundance Theatre Lab), Peter Jay Fernandez (Superboy), Mary Hodges (Harlem Shakespeare), Michael Markham(NY Shakespeare Festival) ,and Ruffin Prentiss (Madam Secretary) and will be staged by established directors including Ivette Dumeng (Nylon Fusion), David Elliott (Tony Award Winner, 2013), Melissa Firlit (Denver Broadway Award Winner), Erica Gould (Stand Up with Mos Def), Kelly O'Donnell (Flux Theatre Ensemble) with original music by Duane Ferguson, projection design by Justin Asher.

Voices Inside/Out is an organization dedicated to the artistic exchange between theatre makers from inside and outside of prison walls. VIO presents inmate-authored plays in New York City and sponsors a playwriting residency at a medium security prison in Kentucky.
