The Miranda Siegel-directed video for "New Lows," the latest single from Brooklyn's Doe Paoro, is premiering at Vice/Noisey. Click below to watch the video!

Produced by Van Rivers (Fever Ray, Glasser, Blonde Redhead), the track is from Paoro's New Lows/See Me Now 7", out now on White Iris Records, the early home of Best Coast, Fool's Gold, Foreign Born, FIDLAR and more. The 7" is available on vinyl (http://bit.ly/19kHQed) and digitally via iTunes (http://smarturl.it/ct5xse). Paoro is celebrating the release with a June 19th show at The Standard in New York.

Describing her music as "ghost soul," Paoro's vocals are strongly influenced by her in-depth study of Lhamo, a vocally acrobatic Tibetan-style opera that she encountered while traveling alone through the Himalayas. Upon returning to the U.S., Paoro sketched out her debut full-length release Slow to Love in an isolated cabin near her hometown of Syracuse. Early press has compared her music to D'Angelo, Lykke Li and James Blake and she has shared the stage with Of Monsters and Men, First Aid Kid, Eleanor Friedberger, Japanther and others. She is currently in Stockholm working on her second LP.

White Iris Records is the label arm of Black Iris Music, an LA-based creative incubator. Together, White Iris and Black Iris form an award-winning creative music production company, a critically acclaimed record label and a trusted consultancy platform for brands. Based in Echo Park and an integral part of Los Angeles' east side music scene since 2009, White Iris has been the launching pad for numerous highly acclaimed indie artists including Best Coast, FIDLAR, Oberhofer, Fool's Gold, Electric Guest and others. Vice/Noisey recently called White Iris "tastemakers" and LA Weekly named them one of the Top Ten Independent Record Labels in Los Angeles.
