Following Tuesday night's Democratic Presidential Debate, the Twitter World exploded with the revelation that Senator Bernie Sanders resembled and sounded an awful lot like SEINFELD and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM creator Larry David. So in true SNL fashion, the show responded, casting David as Sanders in last night's cold opening, which also featured a cameo appearance by Alec Baldwin. Check out the hilarious sketch below!

Larry David recently made his Broadway debut in his original comedy FISH IN THE DARK. The show, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, opened at New York's Cort Theater on March 5th and ran for a limited engagement.

FISH IN THE DARK, also starring Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler, had scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ann Roth, and lighting design by Brian MacDevitt.

Aside from co-creating the long running NBC series SEINFELD, in which he occasionally starred, David wrote and starred in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also served as a writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live.
