Two New Illustrated Promos For IF/THEN Featuring Idina Menzel
Two musically propulsive new promotional spots for the highly anticipated new Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey musical IF/THEN have been released in anticipated of the show's out-of-town tryout in Washington, D.C., featuring headliner Idina Menzel belting a brilliantly booming new tune from the contemporary score for the show.
"'Cause there's a moment when everything changes / There's a moment to leap off the cliff / There's a moment there's no turning back / No turning back / And you wonder 'What if?'" Menzel thrillingly sings in the new illustrated promo for the musical, depicting a visualization of the park-set scene first glimpsed in the eye-grabbing poster.
In the other promo, similar visuals are accompanied by a section of "Here I Go", another of Menzel's recently previewed show-stoppers from the specially-crafted score.
Of note, yesterday, the first shot of the cast in costume posing for a group photo was revealed, available here.
The official synopsis for If/Then is as follows: "On the verge of turning 40, Elizabeth moves back to New York City, the ultimate city of possibility, intent on a fresh start - new home, new friends, and hopes for a resurgent career.
