The Toronto Star writes that the Canadian premiere of the Tony Award-winning KINKY BOOTS, which opened June 28 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, has been extended through November 8, 2015. Tickets for the added six weeks of performances go on sale July 6.

Kinky Boots brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for KinkyBoots).

Alan Mingo Jr. stars as "Lola", Graham Scott Fleming stars as "Charlie Price". AJ Bridel stars as "Lauren". Daniel Williston stars as "Don". Vanessa Sears stars as "Nicola". James Kall stars as "George".

Rounding out the ensemble are Thomas Alderson, Andre Anthony, Nicola Dawn Brook, Patrick Cook, Arden Couturier, Dan Domenech, Lisa Horner, David Houle, Eric Leclair, David Lopez, Stewart Adam McKensy, Julia Mclellan, Kristen Peace, Erica Peck, Andrew Scanlon, David Silvestri, Isaiah Slater, Jivaro Smith, Justin Stadnyk, Kaden Stephen, Geoff Stevens, Madeleine Suddaby, Jesse Weafer, Cleopatra Williams, Ryan Wilson and Sandy Winsby.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from a gentlemen's shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father's expectations and continue the family business of Price & Sons. With the factory's future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.

With direction and choreography by two-time Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray) and a book by Broadway legend and four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), Kinky Boots is the winner of 6 Broadway Tony® Awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Choreography.
