The Latina Legend Award will continue to be awarded annually by the 100 Hispanic Women as recognition to individuals who have been recognized nationally as first time recipients in any given field and noteworthy service representing the Hispanic community.

Also being recognized at the 2015 gala are the following honorees: Lorraine Montenegro, Historical Consultant for United Bronx Parents, Inc. will receive the Latina Service of Excellence Award; Rose Rodriguez, New York State Chief Diversity Officer will receive the Public Service Leadership Award; the Every Woman Wellness has been selected to receive the Groundbreakers Award and will be accepted by Dr. Juana L. Cuevas, Dr. Lisette Lugo and Dr. Monica Simons; and the annual "Men-Ción" Honorable Award will be presented to Dr. Magdy Mikhail, Chair of the Department of OBY/GYN and Women's Health at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.

As part of the program, there will be a special tribute to Presidenta Emerita and Founding Member Milagros Baez O'Toole for her leadership and guidance since the inception of the organization.

"We are extremely proud of Chita Rivera's outstanding accomplishments, the many years of commitment from Milagros Baez O'Toole, and the amazing work of all this year's gala honorees," Nancy Genova President of the 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. stated.
