Theatre for One responds to election results with new play by ReGina Taylor, to be performed November 16 - 21, 2016.

In the spirit of the current season of plays offered under the prompt, In This Moment, Theatre for One has commissioned Regina Taylor to write a short play in response to this political moment. This Moment After is a companion piece to Deja Vu, which premiered during the first week of Theatre for One's current residency at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

This Moment After, featuring Myra Lucretia Taylor and directed by Jenny Koons, will be performed in repertory with Barrel Wave by Naomi Wallace and featuring Tala Ashe; Golden State Freeway by John Guare and featuring Frank Harts, and He Built This by Bill Irwin and featuring Marcus Crawford Guy.

Jenny Koons, director of This Moment After and Theatre for One associate artistic director commented, "Theatre for One's unique commissioning model allows us to respond to this post-election moment in American history through the words of legendary playwright ReGina Taylor. We are thrilled to be in immediate dialogue with the big questions and emotions of the past few days."
