The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Welcomes Diana Krall Tonight

Tonight, April 4, 2013 the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall will present Multi-Platinum recording artist Diana Krall. The contralto vocalist is known for "her smooth and sultry tones, which she delivers with a refined and sophisticated style, creating an experience that leaves audiences on their feet for standing ovations at every performance."

Her current tour is titled after her latest album, Glad Rag Doll. On this album, she utilized a new cast of musicians which allowed her to explore new styles and sounds, and to grow her repertoire of music in exciting new ways. Diana has referred to this album as a "song and dance record," and compares it to the music of the 20s and 30s, but reimagined in through the creative expression of the 21^st century.
