The Spotlight Comes to The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center

The Spotlight, a new production of Studio Senakwami, offers an opportunity for professional and up and coming inspiring performers, artists and musicians to step into the spotlight in the majestic Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. This premier production will be hosted by three time Theatre Education Tony Award nominee and multi-award nominated vocalist, Corinna Sowers Adler with Juilliard jazz pianist Julius Rodriguez and his band, Orange Julius.

The Spotlight will feature singer Karen Hanley, actress Melissa Rose Hirsch, NiCori Studios & Productions Student Elizabeth Nucci, Multiple Award Winning Recording Artist Stearns Matthews, and others, including the two time MAC award winning singer, T. Oliver Reid. Mr. Reid is currently performing in his 11th Broadway show, Sunset Boulevard.

The evening will begin with a preconcert piano recital by young students from Studio Senakwami, Alyssa DiPaolo, Aviva DiPaolo, Abigail Roman, and Avantika Makthal.

The Spotlight will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 7pm in The Appel Room, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Time Warner Center, New York City.
