Breathing new life on countless traditional treasures of song, The Irish Tenors share their classically trained voices at the Van Wezel on March 19, 2014.

Leaders of their genre, the powerful vocal line-up of Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, and Ronan Tynan have been touring together as The Irish Tenors, since 1998 selling-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world. Additionally The Irish Tenors worked with Martin Sheen on one of the most successful PBS shows ever: 'The Irish Tenors Live from Ellis Island'. The "Elis Island" recordings sold over a million CDs and DVDs.

Through their illustrious style and cheerful demeanor the Tenors have proven themselves diversely gifted with their wide range of material, reinventing songs such as "My Heart Will Go On", "Fairytale of New York", "Danny Boy" ,"Whisky in the Jar", and even Jimmy Kennedy's "South of the Border (Down Mexico Way)".

Performing at the Van Wezel just two days after Saint Patrick's Day, The Irish Tenors, often referred to as the "Godfathers of Irish repertoire", will bring their rich cultural heritage and a concert experience which will touch the heart and stir the emotions.

Tickets are priced from $55-$70. For more information, call the Box Office at 941-953-3368 or visit www.VanWezel.org.
