The Broadway Experience is an international musical theater program designed to create triple threat performers. Over the course of one week, students undergo an intense study of dance, voice and acting with current Broadway professionals and incredible master teachers. Students become stronger, more dynamic performers, preparing themselves for a professional career at the highest level. Founder & Director, Ben Hartley.

This year, TBE is moving into Lincoln Center Institute, and they are thrilled to announce that on Tuesday, July 28 at 4:30pm Baayork Lee will be joining them for a screening of the documentary film Every Little Step. She will be giving a lecture Q&A following the film.

An original cast member in a dozen Broadway shows, Baayork created the role of Connie in A Chorus Line. She was Associate Choreographer for Tommy Tune's My One and Only and Assistant Choreographer for Michael Bennett and has directed over 35 companies of A Chorus Line. Ms. Lee is the co-author of On the Line: The Creation of A Chorus Line published by William Morrow. She is proud to be the recipient of the 2003 Lifetime Achievement Asian Woman Warrior Award from Columbia College in Chicago.

On Saturday, August 1st at 12:00pm Faith Prince will be hosting the "Meet a Broadway Star!" session and will do a Q&A with the students followed by a performance.

Faith Prince, currently starring as Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid, won a Tony Award for her performance as Adelaide in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls and starred Off-Broadway in the Lincoln Center production of A Man of No Importance. Her numerous Broadway credits include A Catered Affair, Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing, James Joyce's The Dead, Little Me, The King and I, What's Wrong with This Picture?, Nick & Nora and Jerome Robbins' Broadway.

Ben Hartley, Founder & Director of The Broadway Experience, has been seen on Broadway in The Little Mermaid, Swan Lake, Fiddler on the Roof, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the City Center Encores! staging of Follies. His other theatrical credits include Cats, Fosse, Cinderella, The Carman, The Most Happy Fella, Pirates and Hello, Dolly! Hartley has also performed with the Met Opera Ballet and the English National Ballet.
