"Shakespeare's Sonnets on Tap," featuring "twelve sonnets, eleven actors, nine tap dancers, three nights," will be performed Thursday, August 23 at 8:00pm, Friday, August 24 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm, and Saturday, August 25 at 8:00pm at the 411 Space (300 West 43rd Street, Ste 411, at 8th Avenue).
 
The evening will feature the talents of Varín Ayala, Stephen Bel Davies, Robert Michael Bray, Frank Harts, Ray Hesselink, Di Johnston, Stephanie Larrière, Amanda McCroskery, Christina Moore, Parallel Exit (Derek Roland and Ryan Kasprzak), Max Pollak, Claudia Rahardjanoto, David Rider, Ivy Risser, Dolores Sanchez, David Sochet, James Sutherland and Elisa Van Duyne.  Pollak and Risser perform Friday and Saturday only.

"Sonnets on Tap" will be directed by Awoye Timpo, with lighting design by Seth Reiser and stage management by Annette Adamska

The show will be presented by Novisi Productions, who are "dedicated to the production of works that capture and engage the imagination of the audience. Constantly exploring the relationship between language, speech, movement and music, Novisi is guided by a desire to challenge artists and audiences alike to fully experience and investigate the possibilities and power of live theatrical performance."
