Tegan & Sara Perform 'Closer' with Taylor Swift Live in Los Angeles

Last night, Taylor Swift invited Tegan and Sara to her show at Staples Center in LA to join her on stage and perform their hit single, "Closer," together in front of a sold out crowd. Another big moment for the Canadian sisters, who continue to leave their indelible stamp on the pop world.

"Closer," the first single off their seventh studio album, Heartthrob, is moving on up the Top 40 radio charts thanks to early love from stations like Z100/New York, WIOQ/Philly and KMVQ/SF while new adds keep rolling in from big stations like WKSC/Chicago, WBBM/Chicago, KBKS/Seattle and WKQI/Detroit. It's a milestone for Tegan and Sara, who have never had a song chart at pop radio before.

Tegan and Sara are coming off massive festival performances at Lollapalooza and Osheaga in Montreal, where they joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on stage to perform the equal rights anthem "Same Love". Tegan and Sara will be playing the remainder of the Fun.
