"I am very excited and gratified for all 5 of these well deservered nominations. I am so happy for everyone involved with the show. I woke up early and actually listened to the live feed on BWW, and started jumping up and down with my wife when the news come through. It's been a long and complicated journey, it's been absolutely thrilling to have the show finally land in New York and watch the audience enjoy it every night. This show is about fun and these nominations are just icing on the cake."
Glenn Slater, nominee for Best Original Score for Sister Act

"The sun is shining and the birds are chirping this morning! I am really, really thrilled. I am so happy to be nominated with John and I honor Daniel with this who is a dream to work with. It's realy a blessing. I was so sure I wouldn't be nominated that I stayed asleep through the announcements and figured, "whatever will be, will be." And then my phone started ringing off the hook and at that point I knew and just started crying. Being an actor can be a constant hardship, as it's always a struggle to stay confident and secure when you've faced so much rejection. So with this honor and our audience reactions every night, it's just a blessing and makes it all worth it."
