The big screen edition of cult musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS starring Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick is set to premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. THE LAST FIVE YEARS will be presented today, September 7.

THE LAST FIVE YEARS is based on Jason Robert Brown's Off-Broadway cult musical and is directed for the screen by Richard LaGravenese. The musical traces the beginning and end of the relationship between writer Jamie and actress Cathy from alternating perspectives in a unique and arresting manner, highlighted by Brown's lyrical, pop-flecked score.

More information is available at the official Toronto International Film Festival website here.

Of note, the film was picked up for distribution earlier this week and is now set for a limited release on February 14, 2015.
