Studio Tenn promises to be "back at it again with an all new line up of original works, literary masterpieces, powerful dramas and Broadway classics" for the 2017-18 season, which is revealed this week.

Crafted to engage and entertain, this new season has something for everyone and will keep audiences begging for more time and time again, according to the announcement. The 2017-2018 shows and dates are as follows:

- The Battle of Franklin - September 7 - 17

- The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - December 1 - 17

- Doubt: A Parable - February 15 - 25

- Grease - May 10 - 20

Jeffrey Ellis, senior contributing editor to BroadwayWorld.com says, "Artistic Director Matt Logan and Managing Director Jake Speck bring the magic and mystery of top-flight theater to life in Franklin with each subsequent production, one seemingly more amazing that the last, leaving audiences to wonder where the creative pair's next flight of fancy will take them."

Beginning its seventh season with a bang, by popular demand Studio Tenn will reprise its original treasure, The Battle of Franklin, in September. Chronicling the story of Tod Carter and taking place in the very town Studio Tenn calls home, The Battle of Franklin sends audiences back in time to witness the tragic struggle between father and son, between master and slave, between North and South. A tale of a broken family and a broken nation told beautifully through the power of music and drama, "The Battle of Franklin" creates a stirring performance piece that is about more than mere history but about the conflict in all of us and our hope of restoration.

Coming to life this Christmas season, Studio Tenn's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ventures into a magical world like you've never seen before. Deemed one of the 100 greatest novels of all time, families around the world love C.S. Lewis' critically-acclaimed tale of Narnia. Studio Tenn will transport audiences to a winter wonderland behind the wardrobe where animals talk, trees walk, and the White Witch rules the landscape. Just open the door; you'll never believe what you find!

Following the success of its Studio Tenn staged reading, Doubt: A Parable shares dramatic undertones that are signature of Studio Tenn dramas. When an unthinkable accusation is leveled against Father Flynn, Sister Aloysius realizes that the only way to get justice is to create it herself. John Patrick Shanley's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama that not only raises questions of uncertainties, but causes audiences to explore who they are, and who they become, in the face of adversity.

Rounding out the season, Studio Tenn next May will bring the too-cool-for-school "T-Birds" and smoking hot "Pink Ladies" to the Jamison Theater with Grease. Paying tribute to a cult classic that influences every generation, Grease takes audiences back to a time of drive-in movies, malted milk shakes and the age-old desire to be rebellious.

All performances in the 2017-2018 season will be held in Jamison Theater at The Factory in Franklin. Ticket prices range from $30-85, with a 15 percent discount on any three show package of your choice and 20% discount on a four show package. Tickets go on sale to the public April 6.
