On Saturday February 9th, indie band Sky-Pony will present LOVE FOR SALE: a boudoir-themed concert experience in honor of Valentine's Day, featuring songs about sex, love and everything in between. Sky-Pony is known for shows that blur the line between rock concert, party, and theater event. This is their latest confection.

The band Wyatt, led by acclaimed NYC singer-songwriter Maddy Wyatt, will open.

It all happens on Saturday February 9th atThe Knitting Factory (361 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY). Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm.

Tickets $12 in advance and $15 at the door, available in advance throughbk.knittingfactory.com.

Sky-Pony is a Brooklyn based band that serves up lush, lyrical, often cheeky indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics. They incorporate costumes, choreography, and projections into their high-energy live shows. Led by theater-world couple Lauren Worsham (singer/actress who's appeared in City Center's Where's Charley and City Opera's Candide among others) and Kyle Jarrow (Obie Award winning playwright/composer known for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, Whisper House, and also of the band The Fabulous Entourage), they recently released their debut EP Say You Love Me Like You Mean It, now available on itunes. Back in October they performed a limited run of their concert-theater piece Raptured, produced by Off-Broadway theater group The Play Company.

Sky-Pony also features the talents of Kevin Wunderlich, Jessi Suzuki, Megan Stern, Perry Silver, Eric Day and David Blasher -- as well as guest appearances from Cassie Foote, Lindsey Matteson and Shauna Goodgold. More info on Sky-Pony at http://www.sky-pony.com.
