Schwartz, LaChiusa, Bucchino, Stitt and More Contribute Chamber Pieces for March 7 "Cello Project" Concert

On Monday, March 7 at 7pm acclaimed cellist Peter Sachon performs "The Cello Project" at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia. The song-cycle will feature twelve world premiere cello pieces by noted New York composers including: Jeff Blumenkrantz, John Bucchino, Jason Carr, Charles du Chateau, Bruce Coughlin, Tom Kitt, Michael John LaChiusa, Dan Lipton, Steve Marzullo, David Rossmer, Stephen Schwartz, George Stiles, and Georgia Stitt.

The concert, presented by New Voices Collective will also feature guest artist Rebecca Luker, along with musicians Joshua Rosenblum (piano), Chirstian Hebel (violin), Ed Matthew (clarinet), Gregory Landes (percussion), and Billy Miller (percussion).
