The efforts of the award-winning musical WICKED to go environmentally green will be shown in "The Green Apple: Entertainment," which will air on NYC Life (Channel 25 in NY) on April 22 at 9 PM.

A sneak peak of Wicked's segment can be seen below, where Nick Carr, the host, talks to cast and crew members about green initiatives, LED lights, and Elphaba's green makeup.

"The Green Apple: Entertainment" will also visit green-friendly television shows including "The Good Wife" and "30 Rock."

The special will also be available on the NYC Media Video on Demand Player after it airs. To view this, visit www.nyc.gov/vod.

WICKED is currently playing the Gershwin Theatre On Broadway.  For tickets and more information, visit www.wickedthemusical.com.
