Beginning performances tonight (March 29), Richard H. Blake will assume the role of Fiyero in the Broadway company of WICKED. He joins a cast which includes Teal Wicks as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond. Kyle Dean Massey played his final performance on Sunday, March 27.

Richard H. Blake joins the Broadway company directly from the national tour of Wicked. His Broadway credits include Legally Blonde (Warner), The Wedding Singer (Glen Guglia), Hairspray (Link), Aida (Radames), Saturday Night Fever (Tony Manero), Rent (Roger), Prince of Central Park (Prince), Macbeth (Boy Macduff), The Sound of Music (Friedrich). Blake's TV and film credits include "The Babysitter's Club," "All My Children," "Toonces and Friends" and Red Light August.

Winner of 35 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Declared "A Cultural Phenomenon" by Variety and "The Best Musical of the Decade" by Entertainment Weekly, WICKED currently has 7 productions: New York, London, Japan, Germany, two concurrent North American National Tours, and an Australian tour. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, WICKED has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. WICKED is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
