Prospect Theater Company's 10th anniversary concert will be held Sept. 21 at Off-Broadway's 37 Arts.

Falsettos' Stephen Bogardus will host the 9 PM concert, which will boast the talents of David Abeles, Jim Bauer, Jennifer Blood, Matt Cavenaugh, Gavin Creel, Jennifer Damiano, Malcolm Gets, Piper Goodeve, Adam Jacobs, Jose Llana, Jeff McCarthy, Meghan McGeary, Mark Mozingo, Brian Munn and Liz Power as well as members of the cast of the upcoming Prospect production of Illyria: Dan Sharkey, Ryan Dietz, Jim Poulos and Tina Stafford.

The evening will feature one song from each of the 14 new musicals that Prospect has produced over the past decade: The Blue Flower (Jim Bauer), The Book of the Dun Cow (Randy Courts and Mark St. Germain), DIDO and Aeneas (Rick Hip-Flores), Iron Curtain (Peter Mills and Stephen Weiner), Tock Tick (Gihieh Lee and Tim Nevits), The Tutor (Maryrose Wood and Andrew Gerle), and The Taxi Cabaret, The Flood, Illyria, The Alchemists, Lonely Rhymes, The Pursuit of Persephone, The Rockae and Honor (Peter Mills).

Prospect Theater Company is a non-profit organization founded in June 1998 by five graduates of Princeton University. The company's mission is to "produce classic texts, new plays and musicals that connect theatre's present to its past - in order to build its future."

Jim Bauer (Composer / Lyricist - 'The Blue Flower') is a composer, lyricist, songwriter and performer who writes music for art-rock/meta-folk bands he assembles, and for television, film, and theater. He started The Blue Flower project in 1999, collaborating with visual artist Ruth Bauer. Current projects are DAGMAR, an art-rock opera band started in 2005, and The 2010 Project, starTed August 2008. Jonathan Larson Award recipient 2004, Richard Rodgers Award finalist 2005, ASCAP Plus awards 2003-06. Randy Courts (Composer / Lyricist - 'The Book of the Dun Cow') most recently wrote 'Magic Tree House: The Musical' with writer/lyricist Will Osborne based on the best selling children's book series by Mary Pope Osborne, and the musical Castronauts with writer/lyricist Bobby Houston. 'MTH: The Musical' is beginning a three year national tour this fall and Castronauts will be presented at the 2008 New York Musical Festival (NYMF). With playwright/lyricist Mark St. Germain, Randy wrote the musicals 'The Gifts of the Magi' (ten consecutive seasons at the Lambs Theater; over three hundred productions world wide); Johnny Pye and the Foolkiller (Lambs Theater; AT&T New Plays Award); 'Joseph and Mary' (Los Angeles, Dallas, Indianapolis and in concert in New York City starring Kris Kristofferson); 'Jack's Holiday' (Playwrights Horizons; nominated for three Outer Critics Circle Awards, including best musical); 'The Gingerbread House' (commission from Playwrights Horizons and Dreamworks); 'The Book of the Dun Cow' (Prospect Theater Company); and, most recently, 'Doctor Dolittle' (Theaterworks USA). With novelist/librettist Walter Wangerin Jr., Randy wrote the Christmas oratorio 'Angels and All Children,' and the operas 'Potter' and 'Elisabeth and the Water Troll.' Randy is a member of The Dramatists Guild and a regular participant at The New Harmony Project. His work has been published by Samuel French, Dramatists Play Service, Fireside Theater, Augsburg Fortress and The Dramatic Publishing Company.

Composer, playwright and pianist Andrew Gerle (Composer - 'The Tutor') is a three-time recipient of the Richard Rodgers Award for musical theater writing, administered by the American Academy of Arts and Letters, for 'The Tutor' (book and lyrics by Maryrose Wood). With lyricist Eddie Sugarman, he won a 2006 Jonathan Larson Award for their show, 'Meet John Doe,' which received seven Helen Hayes nominations for its world premiere last season at the Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC. A revue of his songs, 'UP,' recently had its premiere at The Zipper Factory Theater in NYC. Rick Hip-Flores (Composer / Lyricist - 'DIDO & Aeneas') has recently performed with the Radio City Orchestra, 'Spelling Bee' (Broadway), 'High School Musical' (MUNY), 'Singin in the Rain' (North Shore Music Theatre), 'Jacques Brel' (Zipper Theatre), 'Breaking Up is Hard to Do' (Actors' Playhouse), 'Shakespeare on Broadway' (Symphony Space), '8 by Tenn' (Hartford Stage), 'Henry and Mudge,' 'A Christmas Carol' (TheatreworksUSA), and numerous productions for 'Musicals Tonight,' where he is a resident musical director. As composer and lyricist, Rick has written songs for 'Neon Mirage' (Humana Festival, 2006), 'A Tooth Fairy Tale,' 'My New York' (Vital Theater), 'Dido and Aeneas' (Prospect Theater), 'Tartuffe,' 'As You Like It' (Worth Street Players), and the Columbia University Varsity Show.

Gihieh Lee (Composer - 'Tock Tick') is a composer, whose repertoire includes 'Songs of Innocence and Experience' (with William Finn), 'Songs from an Unmade Bed' (with Mark Campbell), 'Shakespeare: The Remix' (with Aaron Jafferis), 'Spamlet' (with Anton Dudley), 'Disorder: A Mom and Daughter Vaudeville' (with Katie Baldwin and Julianne Davis) As a vocal arranger, Lee has worked with 'Elegies' by William Finn. As a translator (into Korean): 'Man of La Mancha,' 'The Producers,' 'Amour,' 'I love you, You're perfect, Now change.' M.F.A: NYU. 2004. Jonathan Larson Award. A musical theatre fellow of 2001-2002 The Dramatists' Guild of America.

A lyricist, composer, and book writer, Peter Mills recently was honored to receive the 2007 Fred Ebb Award as well as 2006 Drama Desk nominations for his score and orchestrations of The Pursuit of Persephone. He also has received $10,000 grants from the ASCAP Foundation (The 2003 Richard Rodgers' New Horizons Award) and from the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation (2002), in recognition of his excellence as an emerging musical theater writer. In 2000, he completed a M.F.A. degree in Musical Theater Writing at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts, and was subsequently selected as a Dramatist's Guild Fellow for 2000-2001. Originally from Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Pete graduated from Princeton University in 1995 with a degree in English/Dramatic Literature. His first musical was 'The Taxi Cabaret,' originally produced in the Spring of 2000 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre and published in 2004 by Samuel French, Inc. In 2001, Pete co-authored 'The Flood,' a new musical based on the true story of the 1993 Mississippi River floods, which was selected for the prestigious ASCAP Workshop. In 2002, Pete completed 'Illyria,' based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, which went on to further production and a cast recording at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in 2004. In 2005 he penned 'The Pursuit of Persephone,' a musical based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's college romance with Ginevra King. He has also created 'The Rockae' (2007), a hard rock musical based on Euripedes' classic 'The Bacchae'; 'Honor' (2008), a samurai musical based on Shakespeare's 'As You Like It'; 'The Alchemists,' a musical romance set in Regency England (2003); and 'Lonely Rhymes,' a collection of contemporary comic songs (2004). During his Princeton career, Peter wrote more than 35 songs for the Princeton Triangle Club, for which he now serves on the Board of Trustees and as a writing workshop coordinator. A founding member of Prospect, Pete has also music directed many of the company's endeavors, as well as composed original music for 'The Merry Wives of Windsor,' 'Twelfth Night,' 'As You Like It' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.'

Tim Nevits (Lyricist - 'Tock Tick') is an alum of the New York University Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. His previous works include 'Homestead' (music by Georgiana Gomez) and '1913:
The Great Dayton Flood' (co-authored by Dr. W. Stuart McDowell). He has been a Jonathan Larson Fellow with the Dramatist Guild, and received the 1999 American College Theatre Festival Musical Theatre Writing award. In addition to writing, Tim has spent the last 10 years with dual careers in tech support and teaching English as a second language.

Mark St. Germain (Lyricist - 'The Book of the Dun Cow') has written the plays 'Camping with Henry and Tom' (Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award), 'Out of Gas on Lover's Leap,' 'Forgiving Typhoid Mary' (Time Magazine's "Year's Ten Best"), 'Ears on a Beatle,' 'The God Committee' and 'Freud's Last Session.' With Randy Courts, he has written the musicals 'The Gifts of the Magi,' 'Johnny Pye and the Foolkiller,' 'Jack's Holiday' and 'The Book of the Dun Cow.' Mark's musical, 'Stand By Your Man,' The Tammy Wynette Story was created for Nashville's Ryman Theater and toured nationally. Television credits include Writer and Creative Consultant for 'The Cosby Show.' He co-wrote the screenplay for Carroll Ballard's Warner Brothers film, 'Duma' and directed the documentary 'Stories My Dog Told Me.' His children's book, 'Three Cups,' has recently been published. Stephen Weiner's (Composer - 'Iron Curtain') is making his Broadway debut with 'The Hudsucker Proxy' based on the Coen Brothers Film (Book & Lyrics by Glenn Slater), Jerry Zaks directing. Off-Broadway and regional credits include 'newyorkers' at MTC (Lyrics by Glenn Slater), 'Iron Curtain' (Book by Susan DiLallo and Lyrics by Pete Mills) at the Prospect Theater, 'Once Upon A Time In New Jersey' (Book & Lyrics by Susan DiLallo) at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theater, Village Theater and Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts in England, a concert of his work - 'Songs of Love and Aggravation' at the New York Music Theater Festival, 'An Evening with Comden and Green' hosted by Michael Feinstein at Carnegie Hall , and 'Spittin' Image' at the Forum Theater in Metuchen, NJ. This past summer, 'Iron Curtain' was selected for further workshop development at the Village Theater and the Eugene O' Neill Theater Conference and both 'Iron Curtain' and 'New Jersey' have been showcased by the RoyAl Scottish Academy of Music and Drama at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Unproduced works include 'Marco Polo' for Disney Feature Animation (lyrics by Glenn Slater). Steve has won the Jonathan Larson, Richard Rodgers and ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizon Awards for Musical Theater and has received several Off Broadway and regional nominations for his shows. Maryrose Wood (Lyricist - 'The Tutor') is a three-time winner of the Richard Rodgers Award for her book and lyrics for 'The Tutor.' She is proud to be the first recipient of the Georgia Bogardus Holof Lyricist Award. Her work has been performed at Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Merkin Hall, The Public Theater's New Works Now! series and in many other venues. Maryrose is also the author of four novels for young adults, including 'My Life: The Musical' (Delacorte). Since the Prospect's founding in 1998, Cara Reichel (Director) has worked to establish the company as a vital presence in NYC's theater community. She has directed numerous company productions including 'The Book of the Dun Cow,' 'The House of Bernarda Alba,' 'DIDO (& Aeneas),' 'Danton's Death,' 'Twelfth Night,' 'Everyman,' and others. Through Prospect, she has collaborated frequently with composer and lyricist Peter Mills, as well as other emerging and established writers. Together with Mills, she has created 'Honor,' 'The Rockae,' 'The Pursuit of Persephone,' 'The Taxi Cabaret,' 'The Flood,' 'Illyria,' 'Lonely Rhymes,' and 'The Alchemists.' She is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, the League of Professional Theatre Women, and the Lincoln Center Directors Lab.

Stephen Tate's (Associate Producer) previous producing credits includes the award-winning musical 'Green Eyes' and Prospect Theater Company's 'The Blue Flower' and 'The Four.' Steve has worked in nonprofit regional and commercial Broadway theatre for over seven years. A graduate from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), Steve spent four years at the Tony Award winning La Jolla Playhouse. Commercially, Steve ventured into the Broadway realm as Marketing Manager of 'Rent' during its 10th Season of Love and national movie launch while employed at TMG - The Marketing Group. Currently, Steve works in the online advertising arm of Broadway with Situation Marketing, serving a variety of productions including Tony Award-winning 'Spring Awakening' and Pulitzer Prize winning 'August: Osage County.'

Melissa Huber (Managing Director/Producer) hails from Santa Barbara, California. She holds an AB in History from Princeton University and an MFA in Theater Management from the Yale School of Drama where she received The Morris J. Kaplan Award. She gained practical training at the Guthrie Theatre in Minnesota, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Magic Theatre in San Francisco, and Yale Repertory Theatre. Additionally, she served as the Marketing Director at Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara, and is currently the Program Manager at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas. A founding member of Prospect Theater Company, Melissa has fostered growth through solid fiscal and business administration in support of Prospect's mission "to connect theater's present to its past-in order to build its future."

Corinne Zadik (Press Representative) has been working with Prospect Theater Company since their last summer in Rome, GA in 2000. After graduating from Wake Forest University in 2001 with a degree in both Communication and Theater, Corinne returned to her hometown of New York, where she began her career in public relations. While working for Origlio Public Relations and later in the press office at NYC & Company, New York City's official tourism and marketing association, Corinne has spearheaded the press efforts for the past six seasons of Prospect Theater Company as well as 'Big Bang!' (Collective Unconscious), 'Big Girl' (New York International Fringe Festival 2003), 'Christmas with the Flamingos' (Cofounder), 'President Harding is a Rock Star' (Les Freres Corbusier), 'Cratchett Farm' (Blank Page Productions / Dilion's Reprise Room), 'Celebrate Good Times (Macbeth)' (TheaterFaction) as well as Playscripts, Inc. Corinne is enjoying her fourth season as a bee in the press office of New York City Opera.
