Pianist Robin Spielberg to Perform at Ware Cener, 5/3

Robin Spielberg is a pianist, composer and recording artist well known for her expressive, lyrical performances. Her albums bring traditional, classic, original and popular music to life in vibrant, moving piano solos. This romantic and reflective program focuses on melodic compositions inspired by summers gone by and Spielberg's love for botanicals. It's the perfect date-night Saturday in early May to start off the expectations of the summer to come.

Spielberg is one of America's most beloved pianist/composers. With an impressive tour schedule and hundreds of thousands of recordings sold, this Steinway Artist has been winning the hearts of listeners around the world with her compelling melodies and sensitive piano technique. A prolific composer, Spielberg has sixteen recordings to her credit and appears on over 40 compilations around the world. Her discography includes albums of original piano solos, arrangements of American standards, original pieces for piano/ensemble, recordings for the holidays, a CD of Americana melodies and a CD of lullabies.

Robin is a Celebrity Spokesperson for the American Music Therapy? Association. Her interest in music and healing grew when she witnessed first-hand, the positive effect music had on her own baby daughter (born prematurely) during her four-month stay in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Ticket Information: This event is open to the public. Tickets cost $20 for general admission, $18 for seniors, and $5 for students. All seating is reserved. Tickets may be purchased by calling 717-872-3811 or 717-871-2308, ordered online at www.artsmu.com or in person at the Ware Center Box Office (42 N. Prince St., Lancaster) or the SMC Building on the MU campus in Millersville. Box Office hours are Mon-Fri., 8:30 AM to 4 PM. If still available, tickets may be purchased the day of the show, one hour prior to the performance.

Discount parking vouchers are available for the Prince Street Garage, located at the corner of North Prince Street and West Orange. These vouchers are good all evening.
