We're taking you deep into the archives of BroadwayWorld photographer Walter McBride for exclusive flashbacks to Broadway past. Today, check out this shot of brother/sister duo Robert and Patti LuPone from 1981!

Patti LuPone is a two-time Grammy Award winner and a two-time Tony Award winner. She is also a 2006 American Theater Hall of Fame inductee. The actress made her Broadway debut in Three Sisters in 1973. She received the first of six (as of 2014) Tony Award nominations for the 1975 musical The Robber Bridegroom. She won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Eva Perón in the 1979 original Broadway production of Evita. She played Fantine in the original London cast of LES MISERABLES and Moll in The Cradle Will Rock, winning the 1985 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her work in both. She won a second Tony Award for her role as Mama Rose in the 2008 Broadway revival of Gypsy.

As a performer Robert appeared on Broadway in A Thousand Clowns (2001), True West (2000), A View from the Bridge (1997), Late Nite Comic (1987), St. Joan (1977) and The Magic Show (1974). For his performance as "Zach" in A Chorus Line (1976) he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Some of his many Off-Broadway performances were in Twelfth Night (1980), Black Angel (1982), and Lennon (1982). He currently serves as Co-Artistic Director of MCC Theater.
