Photo Coverage: Katie Finneran and Raul Esparza Announce 2015 OCC Nominees!

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

The winners will be announced on Monday, May 11th. The annual Gala Awards Dinner and presentation of awards to the winners will be held on Thursday, May 21st (4PM) at the legendary Sardi's Restaurant.
SOMETHING ROTTEN! Leads this year's nominee list with 12 nominations, followed by 9 for ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, 8 for AN AMERICAN IN PARIS and 7 for WOLF HALL. Of note, DISGRACED, FUN HOME and HAND TO GOD were ineligibile due to previous Outer Critics Circle consideration for their earlier productions.
