I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, the longest-running Off-Broadway musical on the boards, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Tuesday, August 1 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).  In addition to current cast members and creative team, former cast members such as Jennifer Simard and Jordan Leeds were in attendance.

"Off-Broadway's phenomenal longest-running musical celebrates the modern-day suburban mating game. Audiences fill the theatre with laughter as the cast explores the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws," according to press notes.  The cast features Adam Arian, Anne Bobby, Ron Bohmer and Jodie Langel, portraying over 60 roles.

The show "is the most proposal-friendly show in town. Forty-nine times, a young man has taken the stage to make a surprise proposal to his sweetheart. In all cases, the brides-to-be happily accepted as the audience roared with approval."  I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is written by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro (All Shook Up) and composer Jimmy Roberts.  Directed by Joel Bishoff, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is presented by James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard.
