Photo Coverage: BACKSTAGE WITH PETER LEDONNE Broadcasts from Lillie's

Host Peter LeDonne has taken his AM 970 radio program "Backstage With Peter LeDonne" out of the studio and into the theater district. Peter and night life correspondent Jamie deRoy are now broadcasting from Lillie's Victorian Establishment Wednesday's at 12 PM.

The restaurant is located at 249 w. 49th St. Joe Piscopo the 970 AM morning host dropped by to say hello and gave the lunchtime crowd a few laughs and some of his famous Frank Sinatra vocals. Jamie deRoy as usual gave a rundown of the exciting performers that can be seen at NYC clubs and theaters in the coming weeks. The restaurant is open to the public during the broadcast and a raffle was held with the winner receiving tickets to the September 13th Joe Piscopo show with the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra and hosted by radio talk show legend John Gambling. Presented by AM970 The Answer, the show will be at the Ciccone Theater in Paramus N.J.

Stephen Sorokoff Stephen is also the cabaret/ music and co-theatre editor of the Times Square Chronicles. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides being a pianist, Stephen’s business career was in the Fashion Industry. He was CEO of a textile manufacturing facility and President of an international textile machinery company. Stephen was on the Board of Directors of the “First All Children’s Theatre” which brought the Stephen Schwartz musical The Trip and Captain Louie to the Kennedy Center in Wash DC. His wife Eda, an interior space designer and classical pianist was on the Board of Barrington Stage Company and is still active at BSC.
