Montreal, Canada -- Some months ago, a number of ladies in the Point got together to form a "Women's Painting Group" that they like to call "The Group of Sven". A number of these ladies are very experienced and/or professional trained artists, and they have created some really terrific artwork. And today, March 29th, they will be having their first Vernissage (Art showing and sale) at the Old Bank, at 1900 Wellington Street, between 4pm and 8pm.

Any money raised from the sale of their paintings will be going to the support of the our free PSC Youth Theatre program, as well as, The PSC adult Theatre, and the annual Joe Beef Market -(all Not-for-profit, completely volunteer, Point St. Charles fun projects). Even if you are not in the market to purchase some of this great art, drop by anyway. We are sure you will enjoy seeing the art and there will also be some music & refreshments available.

So, mark your calendars for March 29th and if you have any questions about this event, please do not hesitate to e-mail us at info@psccommunity.com We also hope to have a few examples of this artwork and the poster for the event included on our main PSC Theatre web site in the next few days.

The PSC Community Theatre is a volunteer non-profit group dedicated to bringing live Theatre to the Point and to have fun doing it ! We also support a Youth Theatre program in co-operation with the Point St. Charles YMCA. For any details about our Theatre please visit our site at www.psccommunity.com.
