The Broadway production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is extremely pleased to announce that leading lady Jennifer Hope Wills (currently on maternity leave), and her husband, special effects make-up artist Vincent Schicchi, welcomed the birth of a son, Vincent William Schicchi on December 30, 2008. The healthy baby boy, who was born at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY, is the couple's first child.

Wills is expected to return to the role of Christine in June 2009. Until then, PHANTOM U.S. National Tour and Asian World Tour star Marni Raab continues in the role, with original PHANTOM Vegas star Elizabeth Loyacano as the Christine Alternate.

The longest-running show in Broadway history, the Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Group, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince, continues in its 21st Year in New York at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street).
